Though it is fantastic to see so many people engaged and making comments and objections in various places, but it is essential that these objections are formally made to the Council through official channels to make any difference.

REFERENCE: 19/01287/FUL As a resident on Wilford Road I am strongly opposed to the building of 174 homes on land off Wilford Road. This area is susceptible to flooding and the proposal by Bloors to build on this land will put all the existing homes in the area at risk. Also, the village is unable to sustain this number of houses – GPs are already stressed as are schools. This land is also have a detrimental effect on the green gateway into the village. Wilford Road is already an extremely busy road and the village is gridlocked during rush hours and also at week-ends on many occasions.
